Winemaker's note
It is a terroir blend that brings out the virtues of two areas with our own stamp. One vineyard is in Altamira, at 1,200 m a.s.l., on alluvial soil with limestone; the other is our estate in Barrancas, at 750 m, on the bed of the Mendoza river, with sandy, stony soil. In both we select balanced rows, with a thin canopy and no more than one or two bunches per shoot. We work with indigenous yeasts and let the malolactic happen naturally. It rests 24 months in 500 and 225 litre barrels, then a year in bottle.
